Trader sentiment for Argentina’s 2026 annual inflation centers on the 30.0-34.9% bracket at 53.8% implied probability, reflecting the ongoing disinflation trajectory under sustained fiscal surplus and monetary anchoring. Year-over-year CPI stood at 33.8% in July 2026 after monthly prints averaged near 2% in the second quarter, supported by exchange-rate stability and fading inertia in indexed prices. Market expectations surveys, including the REM, converge on roughly 29-30% for December 2026, while IMF and private forecasts range from 25% to 29%, positioning the 25-29.9% outcome at 39.0%. Recent monthly reacceleration to 2.1% in July and softer growth revisions introduce modest upside risks, yet core measures and reserve accumulation continue to anchor the path within the leading brackets ahead of remaining 2026 data releases.
