Recent forecasts from multiple models, including GFS ensembles, point to a daily maximum near 30–32°C in Karachi on September 3, aligning with the market’s leading outcomes at 31°C (49.5%) and 32°C (27%). Persistent southwesterly monsoon flow, high humidity near 65–80%, and partly cloudy skies are moderating daytime heating while preventing extremes. Historical climatology for early September shows typical highs of 27–31°C, providing a stable baseline that current guidance has not deviated from significantly. Minor model spread in afternoon cloud cover and wind speed keeps the 30°C and 32°C bins competitive but secondary, with probabilities above 33°C remaining low absent an unexpected clearing trend. Updated model runs ahead of the date will be the key catalyst for any shifts in trader positioning.
