Current National Weather Service and GFS model guidance positions a high near 76–78°F as the most probable outcome for Los Angeles on September 18, aligning with the market’s leading 76–77°F bin at 55.5% implied probability. Coastal marine layer effects and moderate onshore flow are expected to limit daytime heating at official measurement sites such as LAX, keeping values close to the long-term September 18 average high of 76.2°F. Recent model runs show little spread, with minimal risk of stronger offshore winds or clear-sky amplification that could push readings into the upper 70s or low 80s. Updated forecast discussions and final station observations tomorrow will determine exact resolution.
