Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 22 project daytime highs of 79–80°F amid partly to mostly sunny conditions with scattered afternoon thunderstorms possible. This consensus, driven by moderate southerly flow and limited cloud cover allowing typical late-September solar heating at the city’s mile-high elevation, underpins trader preference for the 80–81°F outcome at 43.5% implied probability. Model guidance shows minor spread around peak temperatures due to variable thunderstorm timing and coverage, keeping the adjacent 82–83°F and 78–79°F bins active while rendering extremes below 76°F or above 84°F highly unlikely given current atmospheric conditions. Updated NWS briefings tomorrow morning will provide the final observational benchmark for market resolution.
