Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz, the incumbent, holds a commanding position in Florida's 23rd congressional district ahead of the November 2026 general election, supported by the seat's pronounced Democratic tilt following the 2026 redistricting process. The new map, signed into law in May after legislative approval, shifted the district's partisan voting index to approximately D+9, producing strong Democratic performance in recent cycles and limiting Republican opportunities. Multiple forecasters classify the race as Solid Democratic, reflecting the district's voter composition and Moskowitz's established fundraising and name recognition. The Democratic primary on August 18 features Moskowitz against challenger Oliver Larkin, while the Republican primary draws several entrants with limited visibility. No late-breaking developments have altered the structural Democratic advantage in the past month.
