Recent official forecasts from Malaysia's meteorological service project a maximum of 35°C for Kuala Lumpur on September 4 amid typical southwest monsoon conditions, with morning haze and scattered afternoon thunderstorms likely to increase cloud cover and limit extreme heating. Other models show highs of 33–34°C, aligning with seasonal averages near 31–32°C and recent observed peaks of 31–34°C. These factors position 34°C as the market favorite at 53% implied probability, followed by 33°C, as traders weigh the moderating effects of convection and regional haze against potential clearer periods that could push readings to 35°C. New model runs and official updates over the next 48 hours will likely refine these odds.
