Current forecast models indicate afternoon highs of 23–24°C in Mexico City on September 2, driven by widespread cloud cover, high humidity, and an 70–85% chance of afternoon thunderstorms that limit solar heating. At 2,240 meters elevation, the subtropical highland climate typically produces September daily maxima near 23–24°C, with convective rainfall common during the wet season's tail end. Recent observations and model runs from multiple sources show temperatures peaking in the low-to-mid 20s under overcast skies, consistent with historical norms and suppressing any potential for 26°C or higher. Market-implied probabilities cluster around these values because traders weigh the latest ensemble guidance against the narrow historical range for early-September maxima.
