**Trader consensus strongly favors a low of 76-77°F (88% implied probability) for Houston on August 29, 2026, with 70-71°F and 74-75°F each at 13%.** This positioning reflects National Weather Service and model consensus pointing to an overnight low in the upper 70s under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and high humidity that limits radiational cooling. Houston’s subtropical climate in late August typically features normal lows near 74-75°F, but persistent warmth from recent days (prior lows around 77°F) and heat indices above 100°F during the day have kept the boundary layer warm. Isolated afternoon/evening thunderstorm chances introduce minor uncertainty in cloud cover and localized cooling, yet forecasts from multiple sources converge on 75-79°F, centering the distribution on 76-77°F. No major synoptic changes, such as a cold front or unusual wind shift, are expected overnight. Upcoming evening observations and any revised NWS guidance could refine the final recorded low, but current atmospheric conditions strongly support the market’s leading range.
