Recent ensemble forecasts for Jeddah on September 12 indicate a daytime maximum near 36–37 °C, driven by a persistent subtropical high, clear skies, and light southwesterly flow off the Red Sea that limits both daytime heating and nocturnal cooling. Model consensus shows minimal cloud cover and negligible precipitation risk, consistent with late-summer climatology where September averages hover around 36 °C. Small spreads among runs arise mainly from differences in simulated sea-breeze timing and boundary-layer moisture, which can shift the peak by 1 °C. With 36 °C and 37 °C outcomes trading near parity, traders are weighting the latest high-resolution guidance and any final adjustments from regional models ahead of the 48-hour verification window.
