Recent forecast updates from models like GFS and ECMWF indicate a cooling trend for Madrid on September 9, driven by shifting northerly winds, increased cloud cover, and a chance of light showers that follow hotter conditions exceeding 33°C on September 8. This positions 27°C as the leading outcome with 45.5% implied probability in trader consensus, ahead of 28°C at 26% and 26°C at 20.5%, aligning with projected afternoon highs near 25-27°C from sources such as AEMET and Yr. Historical September 9 averages near 28°C provide context, yet current atmospheric steering patterns introduce uncertainty around exact peaks and resolution thresholds, with final AEMET observations determining the market.
