Campeche’s 2027 gubernatorial race remains wide open eleven months before the vote, with trader prices fragmented across dozens of potential nominees because no candidate has secured a major-party nomination or built a decisive lead. Recent July–August 2026 surveys show Morena and Movimiento Ciudadano contenders clustered within a few points of one another in both internal preference and hypothetical head-to-head matchups, reflecting balanced party infrastructure and voter indecision. Key upcoming catalysts include Morena’s internal selection process, Movimiento Ciudadano candidate definition, and any state-level polling shifts that could consolidate support behind one or two figures. Late endorsements, coalition agreements, or national political developments could quickly narrow the field and move prices away from the current equilibrium.
