Recent polls from August 2026, including those by Nanos, Research Co., and Ekos, show the Liberals under Prime Minister Mark Carney maintaining double-digit leads over Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives, often 12–20 points among decided voters. This positioning reflects sustained public support following the 2025 election outcome, with the Liberals positioned to secure a majority in seat projections from firms like 338Canada and The Writ. Trader consensus at 95.3% on “No” aligns with these consistent polling trends and limited signs of Conservative momentum. Factors that could still shift odds include unexpected economic pressures, major policy reversals, leadership developments, or significant by-election results altering the parliamentary balance before the next federal vote.
