Recent forecasts from the National Weather Service and multiple models indicate Atlanta’s overnight low on September 13 will likely settle near 71°F under mostly clear skies and light northwest winds following daytime heating to the low 90s. Radiational cooling under high pressure and dew points in the upper 60s should drive temperatures into the upper 60s to low 70s, consistent with late-summer subtropical air masses but above the 1991–2020 average low of 66.6°F. Trader emphasis on the 72–73°F bin reflects this consensus, while the sizable share on 65°F or below accounts for possible stronger cooling if winds remain calm and skies stay clear longer than expected; conversely, any lingering clouds or higher dew points could hold readings in the mid-70s. Final NWS updates and real-time observations overnight will refine the precise minimum before market resolution.
