This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Vnukovo International Airport in degrees Celsius on 23 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=UUWW If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current forecasts for Moscow on September 23, 2026, point to a daytime high near 18–19°C with overnight and early-morning lows in the 10–12°C range, moderated by showers, cloud cover, and southerly flow.** Multiple model runs and meteorological services show scattered rain or drizzle (probabilities 15–80% depending on the source), which limits nocturnal radiative cooling and keeps minimum temperatures from dropping sharply. Recent days have featured above-normal warmth (highs 19–22°C), with a shift to unsettled conditions on the 22nd–23rd introducing moisture and variable winds that further temper extremes. **The near-even split between 9°C-or-below (50.0%) and 19°C-or-higher (48.5%) reflects model uncertainty in the precise timing and intensity of any clearing versus persistent low-level moisture.** Cloud cover and precipitation act as key controls: thicker clouds reduce longwave heat loss, while breaks could allow brief radiative cooling toward single digits. Historical September minima average around 6–7°C, but current patterns favor milder values closer to the 10–13°C band implied by several 20–23% outcomes for specific temperatures. Updated model runs and official briefings in the next 24–48 hours will likely tighten the range as the system evolves.
