Recent National Weather Service and private forecast models indicate sunny, stable high-pressure conditions over North Texas through the weekend, with light southerly winds and minimal cloud cover supporting afternoon highs of 98–100°F in Dallas on September 6. This places the 98–99°F bin as the current market leader, consistent with consensus guidance showing temperatures slightly above the 1991–2020 daily average of 92.5°F amid ongoing late-summer warmth. Dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s will produce heat indices near 105°F, though the official high remains the dry-bulb maximum. No significant frontal passages or tropical moisture are expected before resolution, keeping probabilities concentrated in the upper 90s to low 100s while allowing limited upside risk if models trend warmer.
