This aligns with hourly readings showing peaks near 29°C amid mainly cloudy conditions, isolated showers, and moderate easterly winds suppressing extremes beyond seasonal norms for late April, where mean maximums typically hover around 27–28°C. While inherent measurement uncertainties exist, revisions are exceedingly rare post-initial verification; only an official HKO audit uncovering a higher reading at another station or data anomaly could challenge it, though current reports across sites like Kowloon City show no such exceedance.
