The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Tokyo Haneda Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/jp/tokyo/RJTT. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Observations at Tokyo's Haneda Airport—the market's official resolution station—confirm a peak temperature of 18°C reached earlier today under a cool air mass and persistent cloud cover, as reported by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). Southerly winds and scattered showers have limited solar insolation and daytime heating, aligning with JMA's latest model guidance projecting subdued maxima around 19°C but yielding lower actuals. Trader consensus at 100% reflects this observational data, with the sun setting soon minimizing upside risk. A late-day clearance of clouds could theoretically allow a brief spike, though current downward trends and historical late-afternoon patterns in similar synoptic setups make higher outcomes improbable. Final JMA tallies expected post-midnight.
