Adithya Karunaratne enters the W15 Kursumlijska Banja clay-court semifinal as the higher-ranked player at WTA No. 627, holding an 18-7 record in 2026 with stronger recent results on the surface after defeating Klara Vaja in the quarterfinals. The 24-year-old from Hong Kong brings more professional experience and consistent match wins compared to 16-year-old Kali Supova, ranked No. 1017 with a 4-5 record this year after her three-set quarterfinal victory over Manon Favier. Market pricing reflects trader consensus favoring Karunaratne at roughly 61% implied probability, driven by the ranking gap, age and experience differential, and both players’ paths through the same event draw. Supova’s youth and potential for improvement remain secondary considerations against the established edge in form and depth for the higher-ranked opponent on clay.
