**Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models indicate an overnight low near 79–81°F for Houston on September 15, driven by persistent southeast winds, high Gulf moisture, and a stable subtropical pattern with no significant cold front or dry-air intrusion expected.** This aligns with typical mid-September climatology (average low ~73°F) but sits above recent norms amid ongoing warmth and humidity. Model consensus shows limited diurnal cooling under partly cloudy skies and light winds, keeping temperatures well above the 71°F threshold while far from the 90°F extreme. Trader sentiment appears split on forecast timing or station-specific readings, with upcoming evening model runs and observations likely to sharpen resolution before midnight local time.
