Latest forecast models from agencies including those drawing on GFS data show Madrid reaching a peak of 35–36°C on September 15 under clear skies, light southerly winds, and negligible precipitation, positioning these as the dominant market-implied outcomes at 37.5% and 49.5%. This aligns with a stable high-pressure pattern driving above-normal warmth, exceeding the 1991–2020 average high of 26.6°C yet remaining below the September 15 record of 34.3°C set in 1987. Consensus across runs supports afternoon maxima near 35–36°C with low uncertainty in the short-term window, though minor model spreads could shift resolution if official AEMET or airport observations differ. No significant updates are expected before market close.
