Hourly Automated Surface Observing System data showed temperatures climbing from 82°F around noon to this maximum amid partly cloudy skies, sea breeze influences, and light winds typical for mid-April, aligning closely with the 84°F climatological normal. While data revisions are exceedingly rare post-quality control by NOAA, a challenge could arise only from an official correction uncovering a sensor anomaly or alternative station reading, though none is indicated in current reports.
