Short-range forecast models from the China Meteorological Administration and international ensembles show Shenzhen's September 21 maximum temperature centered near 31–32°C, with the slight edge to 32°C reflecting recent guidance on reduced cloud cover and lighter winds under a weakening subtropical ridge. Persistent high humidity and typical urban heat-island effects in the Pearl River Delta support these values, while scattered showers or thicker afternoon clouds remain the main variables that could cap readings at 31°C or push them to 33°C. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will refine steering patterns and precipitation timing ahead of market resolution.
