Recent official guidance from Singapore’s Meteorological Service highlights prevailing southwest monsoon conditions and below-average rainfall, supporting daily highs of 33–35°C through mid-September with potential to edge higher on isolated days. Model runs and short-term forecasts converge on a September 3 peak near 33°C, reflecting limited cloud cover, southeasterly winds, and minimal convective cooling expected tomorrow. This aligns with the market’s strong weighting toward 33°C while the modest probability on 34°C accounts for the slim chance of localized intensification or measurement variability at official stations. Typical September climatology and the absence of significant rain or haze-driven shading reinforce trader consensus around this narrow band.
