Persistent high-pressure dominance and above-normal warmth across the Southeast have kept Atlanta's overnight lows in the low-to-mid 70s, aligning with National Weather Service model consensus and climatological trends for mid-September under current ENSO-neutral conditions. Official observations from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and surrounding stations confirm minimum temperatures near 72–73 °F on September 18, reinforcing the market's strong 70–71 °F consensus backed by real-capital trader assessments of forecast stability. A late-day frontal passage or unexpected radiative cooling under clearer skies could still push readings lower, though ensemble guidance shows limited probability of such shifts before final verification.
