Polymarket traders price the 30.0-34.9% bin for Argentina's 2026 annual inflation at 26.6% implied probability, reflecting INDEC's March 2026 consumer price index showing 3.4% monthly acceleration—the year's highest—driven by oil price shocks and a 12.1% education surge, lifting 12-month inflation to 32.6%. Central Bank REM survey forecasts full-year inflation at 29.1%, up 3.1 points recently, while Reuters consensus eyes 30.0%, underscoring sticky regulated prices amid President Milei's fiscal austerity and monetary tightening. Lower bins (20-29.9%) hinge on sustained core disinflation below 3% monthly; higher outcomes risk global commodity volatility or policy slippage, with April CPI release as the next catalyst testing deceleration prospects.
