Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Forecast models from the National Weather Service and guidance such as GFS MOS indicate Miami overnight lows of 80–82 °F for the period ending August 23, driven by persistent southerly flow, high boundary-layer moisture, and limited radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies with dew points near 76–78 °F. These conditions suppress the typical diurnal temperature drop, keeping the daily minimum within the narrow 80–83 °F range that accounts for over three-quarters of current market-implied odds. Minor model spread in cloud cover and shower timing creates the tight contest between the 80–81 °F and 82–83 °F bins, while historical August climatology at Miami International Airport shows similar warm lows during comparable humid regimes. Official observations from KMIA will resolve the market once the calendar day ends.
