Recent numerical weather prediction models, including those from the Japan Meteorological Agency, indicate the September 3 minimum in Tokyo will likely fall near 24–25 °C amid persistent cloud cover, elevated humidity near 70–85 %, and scattered showers that limit radiational cooling overnight. Southwesterly flow and a developing frontal boundary are suppressing the typical early-September diurnal range, keeping overnight lows from dropping below 23 °C while daytime maxima hover around 29–30 °C. Ensemble spreads remain modest, supporting the market’s concentration on 24–26 °C outcomes, though any late timing shift in precipitation could nudge the minimum a degree either way before the day ends.
