Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources converge on sunny conditions with highs in the low 90s for Atlanta on September 15, driven by high pressure, clear skies maximizing solar insolation, and light easterly winds limiting mixing. This places the daily maximum near the 90–93°F thresholds that dominate market-implied odds. Dew points near 69°F add modest moisture but do not suppress peak temperatures, while historical September averages around 84°F highlight the above-normal warmth. Minor model spread in boundary-layer details and exact timing of peak heating creates the near-even split between 90–91°F and 92–93°F bins, with final resolution depending on official airport observations.
