Stable high-pressure conditions and clear skies are positioning Madrid for a daytime high near 30–31°C on September 11, driving the market’s strong consensus on those outcomes. Official forecasts from multiple models show afternoon peaks of 30–31°C under light southerly flow and negligible cloud cover, well above the 27.5°C climatological average for the date. Recent cooling after early-September heat (peaks near 37°C) has given way to this more moderate but still above-normal pattern, with minimal model spread and no incoming fronts expected to alter heating rates. Traders appear to be weighting the latest numerical guidance and historical analogs that rarely exceed 32°C this late in the season.
