Current NWS and ensemble model consensus points to minimal overnight radiative cooling under clear skies and persistent southerly flow, producing a minimum temperature in the low 80s°F for Dallas on August 30. High heat capacity from recent daytime maxima near 100–102°F and dew points in the upper 60s limit the diurnal range, keeping the low anchored near 80–82°F with only modest model spread. Traders have clustered probability on 80–85°F bins because these align closely with official guidance and historical late-August normals under similar high-pressure patterns. Fresh model runs tonight or early tomorrow could shift the exact minimum by a degree or two depending on wind speed or cloud cover deviations, but no frontal passage or significant moisture advection is expected before resolution.
