Argentina's monthly inflation trajectory continues to reflect President Javier Milei's fiscal tightening and exchange-rate stability, with the July 2026 print rising modestly to 2.1% month-over-month from 1.9% in June and year-over-year inflation reaching 33.8%. Traders price the 1.8-2.0% bucket highest at 55.5% implied probability because recent monthly readings have clustered near 2% amid subdued demand pressures and contained regulated-price adjustments, even as core components edged higher. The 1.5-1.7% range holds secondary support at 29.1% on expectations that seasonal and regulated items could moderate further before the September 10 release. Market-implied odds embed the wisdom of crowds betting real capital on whether the disinflation path holds or reaccelerates modestly, with upcoming central-bank expectations surveys and monetary-policy signals as near-term catalysts.
