**Forecast consensus from the National Weather Service and local outlets places Denver’s high on September 10, 2026, in the upper 80s to around 90 °F, aligning with the market’s heaviest weighting on 88–89 °F (51 %) and 90–91 °F (35 %).** Clear to partly cloudy skies under a stable high-pressure pattern, light winds, and above-average warmth in the lower troposphere support strong daytime heating above the city’s 5,280-foot elevation. Recent model runs and NWS point forecasts have converged on 87–90 °F, consistent with the observed 82 °F high on September 9 and the seasonal climb toward late-summer peaks. Historical September 10 averages near 81 °F, so the current setup represents a modest warm anomaly without extreme heat signatures that would push probabilities toward 92 °F or higher. Minor afternoon cloud cover or slight model spread keeps the lower 86–87 °F bin at 11.5 %, while cooler or much hotter outcomes remain low-probability tails given the stable synoptic environment and lack of incoming fronts. Traders are essentially pricing the most likely NWS-verified maximum within the narrow 88–91 °F window.
