Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Central Park and surrounding NYC stations point to a Friday, September 11 minimum near 63–69°F under mostly clear skies and northwest flow behind a weak front, with daytime highs near 80°F. This cooling stems from drier, cooler air advection and enhanced radiational cooling overnight, though model spreads in boundary-layer mixing and exact wind timing create uncertainty around the precise low. Trader-implied probabilities remain closely bunched because small forecast revisions—common this close to the date—can shift the outcome across multiple 2°F bins, while historical early-September climatology (typical lows 62–68°F) provides limited additional constraint amid variable steering patterns. Updated NWS model guidance and evening forecast discussions will likely drive the next market moves.
