Recent forecasts from NOAA-aligned models and major providers indicate an overnight low for Seattle on September 2 near 55°F, with ranges of 54–56°F most probable under a strengthening southerly flow and incoming rain system. Cloud cover and precipitation suppress radiational cooling, keeping temperatures from falling toward the seasonal average low of about 53°F at Sea-Tac. Multiple runs show consistent marine influence and modest wind speeds that limit diurnal temperature drops. This consensus underpins the market's 56–57°F bin leading at 55.5% implied probability, while nearby bins at 44.5% reflect residual model spread and measurement uncertainty. Traders appear to be weighting the latest guidance heavily, with lower-probability extremes discounted absent any unexpected high-pressure development.
