Recent polling averages position New Zealand First ahead of the Green Party for third place in party vote share ahead of the November 7 election, with both minor parties polling in the 10-12% range while Labour and National lead in the high 20s to low 30s. NZ First has held or slightly expanded this edge in multiple surveys over the past month, including the latest Reid Research results, reflecting sustained support under current coalition dynamics. The Green Party remains competitive but trails consistently in aggregated data. ACT, National, Te Pāti Māori, and Labour show minimal probability of finishing third given their established vote levels, with the Opportunities Party emerging as a potential spoiler but not yet altering the top minor-party ordering. Trader consensus aligns with these trends in the multi-party MMP system.
