Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for Los Angeles on September 14 points to a high in the upper 70s to low 80s under continued onshore flow and marine layer influence, keeping conditions near or slightly above the 76°F climatological average. Light southwest winds and mostly clear to partly cloudy skies are expected to limit afternoon heating, with minimal day-to-day change from the current stable pattern. This supports the market’s concentration of implied probability on the 78–81°F bins, while lower-probability outcomes above 82°F would require stronger offshore flow or model shifts not currently indicated. Updated forecasts and observations through the morning of the 14th will refine the exact peak.
