Recent forecasts from the UK Met Office and global models indicate a high near 23–24°C in London on September 13, driven by a mild southwesterly flow and limited daytime heating under mostly cloudy skies with light rain. This aligns with the market's emphasis on 23°C (38%) and 22–24°C outcomes, reflecting model consensus around these values rather than extremes. Cloud cover and precipitation are expected to suppress peak temperatures below seasonal highs seen in recent warm Septembers, while the absence of stronger Atlantic ridges keeps readings above the 20.4°C long-term average high. Updated model runs overnight will refine exact maxima, with traders monitoring for any shift in steering patterns or clearer breaks that could push readings toward 25°C.
