Increased moisture inflow and unstable atmospheric conditions are capping temperatures below the typical April average high of around 24°C, as cloud cover reduces solar insolation and precipitation enhances evaporative cooling. Forecast models like GFS and ECMWF show minor spread in peak timing, introducing uncertainty that differentiates exact integers—e.g., afternoon clearing could nudge toward 25°C, while persistent rain favors 23°C.
