Parliamentary elections to elect all 127 seats of the National Assembly of Quebec are scheduled to take place in Quebec on October 5, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the next Jean-Lesage Quebec National Assembly election for a full term beginning in October 2026 or thereafter. If the election results are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official election results as published by Elections Quebec (https://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/).The Jean-Lesage riding in Quebec City remains highly competitive ahead of the October 5, 2026, provincial election, with market prices reflecting a close contest among Sol Zanetti (Québec solidaire incumbent and co-spokesperson), Claude Villeneuve (Parti québécois), Nathalie St-Pierre (Coalition Avenir Québec), Gertrude Bourdon (Parti libéral du Québec), and Nancy Joannette (Parti conservateur du Québec). Villeneuve’s late-August nomination as a former municipal opposition leader and PQ communications director strengthens the sovereigntist challenge in a riding QS has held since 2018. Fragmented support across five main parties, combined with provincial polling volatility between the PQ and CAQ, sustains tight implied probabilities. Further separation could emerge from riding-specific polling, leader visits, or late-campaign shifts in francophone turnout before nomination deadlines close on September 17.
