**Forecast models and official guidance from the National Weather Service and other sources point to a daily minimum temperature in Denver on September 9, 2026, near 55°F under mostly clear skies overnight.** This aligns with the closely bunched market-implied probabilities for the 56–57°F, 58–59°F, and 60–61°F bins (31–36% each), reflecting modest uncertainty in the precise low rather than any major divergence in expected conditions. Key drivers include radiational cooling favored by clear to mostly clear skies, light northeast winds shifting variable overnight, and low dew points that limit moisture and enhance temperature drops after the previous day’s high near 86°F. The September climatological average low is about 52°F, so current guidance sits slightly above normal due to the recent warmer pattern and lack of strong cold-air advection. Model consensus and NWS point forecasts cluster in the mid-50s, with small differences in cloud timing, wind mixing, or exact measurement site (airport vs. urban) able to shift the final reading across the narrow leading bins. Traders appear to price in this tight range of outcomes while assigning low probability to extremes below 54°F or above 62°F, consistent with stable high-pressure conditions and no incoming fronts.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kbkf
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
