Current ensemble forecasts from NOAA and major models project Houston's overnight low on September 15 in the upper 70s to low 80s under continued southerly flow and high humidity, with no frontal passage expected to alter the pattern. This places the most likely minimum near 78–81°F, yet market-implied odds remain nearly even between 71°F or below and 90°F or higher because traders are pricing in residual uncertainty from model spread, potential local urban heat effects, or last-minute steering changes that could shift the exact minimum by several degrees. Historical mid-September climatology shows typical lows near 74°F, but the current warm anomaly supports the balanced sentiment ahead of updated GFS and ECMWF runs.
