Persistent thunderstorm activity and high humidity across South Florida are keeping overnight lows elevated, with National Weather Service forecasts pointing to minima in the upper 70s for Miami on September 20. Light northeast to southeast winds and widespread cloud cover limit radiational cooling, while scattered showers through the night further moderate temperature drops. Historical September climatology supports typical overnight readings near 76–78°F under similar tropical moisture regimes, though model timing of heaviest rain and any breaks in cloudiness introduce modest uncertainty around the exact minimum. Traders appear to weigh these factors heavily, favoring the 76–77°F and 74–75°F bins as the most likely resolution range.
