Recent National Weather Service observations and model consensus indicate the overnight low in Seattle reached 57°F on September 10, driven by a weakening high-pressure ridge allowing cooler marine air and increased cloud cover to moderate temperatures. This aligns with forecasts projecting minimums in the upper 50s amid an upper-level trough approaching the coast, producing partly sunny conditions and highs near 71°F. Historical September 10 averages near 54°F provide context, yet recent years have trended warmer. Market-implied odds heavily favor the 58-59°F range due to this guidance. A clearer sky window or stronger northerly flow could have pushed readings into the mid-50s, altering resolution if official station data diverged from model runs.
