National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance project sunny, stable conditions over North Texas on August 29, with a high near 102°F amid light southeast winds and negligible precipitation chances. This consensus, driven by persistent high pressure and typical late-summer heating patterns, positions the 100-101°F bin as the market leader at 53.5% implied probability. Recent days have delivered highs of 98-101°F under similar regimes, while heat indices near 107°F reflect elevated dew points without altering the expected maximum. Traders appear to weigh the narrow window for slight upward model adjustments against historical August extremes near Dallas, where 100-103°F readings predominate absent frontal passages or enhanced moisture.
