Recent polling averages place the Social Democrats first at roughly 32 percent, the Sweden Democrats second near 20 percent, and the Moderate Party third around 17 percent, creating a stable ordering that underpins the current market consensus on third place. The Tidö coalition government's performance and the opposition's lead have shown little movement in the latest surveys through July 2026, with no major campaign events or policy shifts yet altering voter intentions ahead of the September 13 vote. Traders appear to view these trends, reinforced by consistent bloc dynamics and historical patterns in Swedish multi-party contests, as the primary drivers keeping Moderate Party odds dominant for third while limiting upside for smaller parties.
