Recent National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts for San Francisco on September 25 point to sunny skies with a high near 69–71°F, driven by persistent onshore westerly flow and a moderating marine layer typical of late September. This consensus aligns with climatological norms (average high ~71°F) and recent model runs showing limited warming potential from light winds and partial afternoon clearing. Trader emphasis on the 70–71°F and 72–73°F bins reflects these projections, while lower probabilities for 74°F+ or sub-68°F outcomes capture residual uncertainty in boundary-layer mixing and exact timing of any coastal stratus. Updated NWS briefings and morning observations on the 24th–25th will provide the final data inputs before market resolution.
