Recent forecasts from the Israel Meteorological Service and international models indicate a high near 29–30°C for Tel Aviv on September 20, supported by clearing skies, northwest winds, and moderate humidity after a brief cooling period. Recent observations show temperatures slightly above the September climatological mean of 26.6°C, with a peak of 35.2°C on September 17 followed by a drop linked to a passing trough. A developing strong El Niño may subtly enhance regional variability, yet short-term steering patterns and sea-breeze effects remain the dominant local controls. Model consensus and historical analogs for late-September highs cluster in the 28–31°C range, aligning with the closely matched market-implied probabilities for 28°C and 29°C. Updated model runs and official briefings ahead of the date will refine these estimates.
