Recent Met Office forecasts and ensemble models indicate a maximum of 20–21°C in London on September 18 under mild southwesterly flow, with partly cloudy skies, limited precipitation, and daytime highs building to around 20°C by afternoon. This aligns with the market's leading 20°C outcome at 53.5% implied probability, as current guidance shows low likelihood of significant deviation. The preceding unsettled period has given way to stabilizing high pressure that caps temperatures below the warmer spell expected from September 20 onward, while historical September averages near 19°C provide context for the tight clustering around 19–21°C. Updated model runs and official briefings through the evening of the 17th will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.

In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
