Recent mild overnight conditions in the New York metro area, with minimum temperatures holding in the low 70s°F under mostly clear skies and light winds, have driven the tight clustering of market-implied odds between the 70-71°F (45%) and 72-73°F (40%) bins. Official observations from stations such as Central Park and LaGuardia align with these ranges, exceeding the 1991-2020 climatological average low of 63°F for September 11. Traders appear focused on minor station-to-station differences and any final quality-control adjustments in National Weather Service data, while lower-probability outcomes below 68°F reflect the absence of stronger radiational cooling or a passing cold front. Updated model verification and any revised daily summaries expected in coming days could refine resolution within these leading brackets.
