Trader consensus at 100% on a 76-77°F low for Dallas on September 12 reflects official National Weather Service observations from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport recording a minimum of 76°F under clear skies and persistent southerly flow. A strong high-pressure ridge maintained above-normal warmth, with dew points near 72°F limiting nocturnal cooling and preventing any cold-air advection. This aligned with seasonal norms for late-summer high pressure suppressing typical 71-72°F averages. The market-implied odds would shift only with revised station data or a documented measurement error at primary reporting sites, though model consensus and surface analyses showed no such discrepancies.
